About the colours

This image is a composite of many separate exposures made by the ACS instrument on the Hubble Space Telescope. Three filters were used to sample several wavelength ranges. The color results from assigning different hues (colors) to each monochromatic image. In this case, the assigned colors are: Blue: F550M (550nm) Green: F658N (658nm) Red: F775W (775nm)

About the data

This image was created from HST data from the following proposal 10805 : PI: L. Sromovsky (University of Wisconsin, Madison), H. Hammel (Space Science Institute), and K. Rages (SETI Institute).
